The diamond patterns you see on the top of the socks are for better breathability, and compared to ordinary mesh, these patterns are also more beautiful which is what's important, right!
The socks have been manufactured with a jacquard knit, meaning they are made using pre-dyed yarns where the color becomes an integral part of the sock during the knitting process. This technique ensures that the socks have stable color and pattern performance, are durable and washable, and are resistant to fading, with consistent colors inside and out.
The elastic at the heel area prevents slipping allowing the socks to better wrap around the foot and reducing the risk of movement during exercise.
