How to find us.

By car

Getting to Merthyr Tydfil by car couldn’t be easier. From the east, exit the M4 at junction 32 and take the A470. From the west, exit the M4 at junction 43 and take the A465.

The Midlands and M5 are easily accessed via the M50, A40 and A465 Heads of the Valleys road, which are largely dual carriageway. The excellent road network means that Merthyr Tydfil is within easy reach from many towns and cities.

Approximate drive times from key centres include:

Brecon ~ 30 minutes
Cardiff ~ 40 minutes
Newport ~ 45 minutes
Swansea ~ 50 minutes
Hereford ~ 1 hour
Bristol ~ 1¼ hours
Gloucester ~1½ hours
Birmingham ~ 2 hours

Parking

There is a layby directly outside the shop with a 20 minute limit (no return with 40 minutes), but if it's full you do need to go around the 1 way system again!
We recommend either the Castle Car Park which you can see on the map above, or Pontmorlais Car Park which is just up from the shop but quite small.
Parking is available from 70p for 1 hour.

By bus

Merthyr Tydfil bus station is in the heart of the town centre with easy access to our shop. There are buses every 15 minutes to Cardiff whilst other regular services link to Brecon, Llandrindod Wells, Abergavenny, Hereford and Pontypridd amongst others. We are easily reached from a number of major towns and cities in Wales. 
Simply head out of the bus station into the St Tydfil's shopping centre, turn right at New Look and walk until you reach Pandora. Turn left and walk up the high street, passed Hardies bar, Lloyds Bank, the library, stay on the right hand side of the street, and you'll find us with the navy shop front.  

By train

There is a train service every ½ hour between Merthyr Tydfil and Cardiff with the journey taking 1 hour. From Cardiff, you can connect to the national rail network.  Merthyr Tydfil train station is in the middle of the town centre with easy access to the shop via Beacons Place (next to Tesco). 

Simply walk through Beacons Place, turn right as you leave and see Specsavers in front of you, walk up the high street, passed Hardies bar, Lloyds Bank, the library, stay on the right hand side of the street, and you'll find us with the navy shop front.
