Nikwax Softshell Proof 300ml

Nikwax Softshell Proof 300ml is designed to add water repellency to the fabric of modern softshell garments. Why?  Well if the face fabric of your softshell clothing gets wet, the breathability is dramatically impaired.  You know what its like the first time you go out in the rain with a new jacket, the water beads up and rolls off.  Then after some time this stops happening and your jacket gets all wet and heavy, it "wets out", and feels damp and clammy on the inside.  Softshell Proof will reduce wetting out and maintain the performance of your outdoor clothing like new.  Used regularly it will prolong the life of garments and enhance performance.  

We recommend that all garments are cleaned with Nikwax Tech Wash prior to re-proofing.  Simply bung your garment in the machine (check the care label) with Tech Wash on the correct cycle to clean it, and then run it through the same cycle with Softshell Proof to re-proof.  Leave your garment to air dry naturally, there is no need for tumble drying or ironing to activate the proofing.
